The mission of the Greater Grand Marais Chamber of Commerce is to support member businesses, economic growth and community events that are consistent with the character of the Grand Marais Area.

• Organize the 4th of July Fireworks - sponsored by member businesses
• Sponsor the Upper Deck Forums to discuss topics of importance to local businesses
• Sponsor the Classic Car Show
• Offer scholarships and loans to be used by member businesses
• Host networking events for local business owners
• Maintain a web site to promote the community and its businesses
